I had always wanted to venture out into the small business world and the concept was starting to take shape over the years. I had read about Virtual Assistant type businesses about ten years ago and had since dreamed of running a personal concierge style service which has evolved since then, into B2B. I studied Business and Management in 2013 and realised I was in love with not only writing business plans, but business itself and so I began developing my own business plan.
Still working full time as a busy EA I noticed how much time I spent remotely communicating with my (very time poor) boss and how little face-to-face time we had. We managed an incredible volume of work, meetings, projects, tasks and even strategic planning. It got me thinking… ‘I am providing a mostly remote, executive support service… hhmm…. AND it’s also of a highly intuitive and proactive nature. This ‘virtual’ environment could be the direction for me to go with my start up business.’ Bee Free was born in 2015.
